Anthimus II was Patriarch of Constantinople from June 18, 1623 until September 22 of that same year.

Anthimus was born into a wealthy family. He succeeded Gregory IV after the latter was exiled to Rhodes by the Holy Synod.

Anthimus left the Patriarchate after three months and withdrew to a monastery after the exiled former Patriarch, Cyril Lucaris, returned to the throne of Saint Andrew.

Anthimus died in 1628.
