Fredi Beleri is an ethnic Greek politician of Northern Epirus in southern Albania.

Beleri was born in Chimara, Northern Epirus, in 1972. His full name is Dionysios Alfred Beleri. From his youth he has been active in pressing for minority rights for Greeks in Northern Epirus.

After the fall of communism in Albania, Beleri moved to Athens and studied at Panteios University. Upon his return to Chimara, he unsuccessfully stood for mayor of that city in 2015.

In May 2023, Beleri again stood for mayor of Chimara but was jailed two days before the election on charges of buying votes. Nevertheless, he won the election but was barred from taking the oath of office and remained incarcerated until his trial in March 2024. On March 5, 2024, Beleri was sentenced to two years in jail. He declared that the trial was a sham and that he will keep on fighting to clear his name.

On June 9, 2024, Beleri was elected to the European Parliament under the flag of New Democracy.
