Konstantinos "Kostas" Giataganas was a Greek athlete who competed in the discus and the shot put.
Giataganas was born on October 12, 1920, in Athens. He was an athlete of Ethnikos Gymnastic Club and competed for Greece in the Olympic Games of 1948 and 1952.
Giataganas held the Greek record for the shot put which he broke five times, the last time with 15.58m in 1949.
Among his accomplishments were:
- a gold medal in the Mediterranean Games of 1951 in the shot put
- a bronze medal in the Mediterranean Games of 1951 in the discus
- a bronze medal in the Mediterranean Games of 1955 in the discus
- a gold medal in the Balkan Games of 1953 in the discus
- a silver medal in the Balkan Games of 1953 in the shot put
- a silver medal in the Balkan Games of 1954 in the discus
Giataganas served as Vice President of Ethnikos G.C. and Vice President of SEGAS. He died in 1997.
