Marianna Hatzopoulou was a popular Greek singer of the 1950s - early 1960s era.

Though nearly blind (her nickname was the "blind sparrow"), Hatzopoulou appeared with great success in night clubs and tours. Among her hits were: "Να ζήσουν τα φωτοχόπαιδα" (Long live poor people), "Ζαφείρα" (Zafira), "Κάνε κότσο τα μαλλιά σου", "Φούστα κλαρωτή" (Chequered Skirt), "Η μάνα μου με δέρνει" (My Mother beats me), "Τα φύλλα κιτρινίσανε" (The leaves have turned yellow), "Σήμερα που γιορτάζεις" (As you celebrate today), "Αγαπημένε μου γεια σου" (Farewell my love).
