Thanasis Angelis is a Greek former football player of the late-1960s - 1970s era.

Angelis was born in Aegaleo in 1946. He started his career at local club Ierapolis as a forward.

Angelis was a member of the all-amateur Greek squad that competed in the qualifiers of the 1968 Olympics. He moved on to Olympiakos, along with team mates Giorgos Stoligas and Vasilis Siokos in 1967. There, he was converted into a defender. His playing career at Olympiakos lasted until 1977.

Angelis was capped 11 times by the senior National Football Team of Greece.
