In [[Greek mythology]], '''Procles''' was a great-great-great-grandson of [[Heracles]] and ruler of ancient [[Sparta]].

Procles was born ca. 1100 BC and was the son of [[Aristodemus]].  His twin was [[Eurysthenes]], and together they received the land of [[Lacedaemon]] after [[Cresphontes]], [[Temenus]] and [[Oxylus]] captured the [[Peloponnesus]]. They ruled together and became the patriarchs of the two ruling families in [[Sparta]] - the Eurypontids and the Ageads.

Procles' son was [[Soos]] and his grandson [[Eurypon]] from whom the Eurypontids were named.
