Kostas Katsouranis (born June 21, 1979 in Patra, Greece) is a Greek football player.
He debuted in the 1997 season for the Patra-based club Panachaiki FC. He spent six seasons at the club and by the third was already a starter. In the 2003 season he earned a transfer to one of the domestic giants of the Greek league AEK FC.
Kostas was one of the key factors in Greece's triumph at the European Championships of 2004. Many consider him one of the best talents to arise from Greece. Others also believe that in the not to distant future he will earn a transfer to a European giant. This would not go down well with the AEK who see him as one of the best men to ever play for the club.
