Tambouria (Greek: Ταμπούρια) is a section of Piraeus, Greece, West of the city centre, bordering Keratsini.
Its name means "fortifications" and is derived from the fact that Greeks fortified the area during the Greek War of Independence against the Ottoman Empire (1821 - 1829).
Much of the area's population historically had been employeed by the local Papastratos factory which produced cigarettes.
