Nikolaos Sifounakis (Νικόλαος Σηφουνάκης) (born December 21, 1949 in Rethymno) is a Greek politician, former Minister of the Aegean Sea and currently Member of the European Parliament. He was elected on the Panhellenic Socialist Movement ticket and sits with the Party of European Socialists group.

On July 23, 2004 he was elected Chair of the Committee on Culture and Education.
