Vyron Polydoras is the current Greek Minister for Public Order.

Polydoras was born in the village of Perivolia near Olympia, Elis prefecture on January 27, 1947. He studied Law at the University of Athens with post-graduate studies at the University of Nevada, the University of Strasbourg and the University of Salzburg. He is a lawyer by profession and a member of the Hellenic Parliament, since 1981, elected by the New Democracy Party from the Athens B' District.

Polydoras has served as Deputy Minister for Education and Religious Affairs, from August 7, 1992 to December 3, 1992 and Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs, from December 3, 1992 to October 12, 1993. He is Minister of Public Order since February 15, 2006.
