Kreatopita or kreatopitta (κρεατόπιτα) is a Greek layered pastry food, made with layers of buttered phyllo and filled with a mince meat mixture.
The ingredients include: mince meat, phyllo leaves, onions, parsley, etc.
There are two varieties: kreatopita can be made into individual spirals (kreatopitakia) or can be made in a large pan and cut into individual portions after baking.
Alternatives to tyropita are spanakopita, a pie with spinach, as well as tyropita (cheese pie).
