Giorgos Trontzos was a Greek basketball center of the 1960s - 1970s era.
Trontzos, who at 2.17m was the tallest Greek player of his day, played for YMCA Thessaloniki before joing AEK. There, he won 5 Greek championships and was instrumental in AEK's winning the European Cupwinners' Cup in 1968.
Trontzos was capped a total of 136 times by the National Basketball Team of Greece, scoring 1545 points.
