Ampelonas (Greek: Αμπελώνας) is a town and a municipality in Larisa prefecture, Thessaly, Greece.

The population of the town, in 2001, was 5,920 inhabitants while that of the entire municipality 8,407.

Ampelonas is the birthplace of Panathinaikos FC defender Yiannis Goumas.
