Kato Mousounitsa is a village in Phocis prefecture in the municipality of Kallii.
Kato Mousounitsa is built on the eastern slopes of the Vardousia mountains, at an altitude of 900m.
In 1981, it was renamed from Kato Mousounitsa to plain Mousounitsa after Ano Mousounitsa was renamed Athanasios Diakos.
