Mayia Melayia (Μάγια Μελάγια) was a Greek singer and actress.
Melayia was born Melpomene Tsirigoti, in 1928, in Athens. She started singing after the end of World War II.
In the 1950s, she played in several films including "Three Mad Detectives", "I ftohia thelei kaloperasi", "Matomena Stefana", etc.
In the 1960s, Melayia migrated to the United States and became popular with Greek-Americans. She returned to Greece later in life after she lost her husband.
Melayia was noted more for singing in night clubs than for recording.
