Prousos is a town and municipality of Evrytania prefecture, Central Greece.
The population of the town was 511 inhabitants while that of the entire municipality 2253, according to the 2001 Census.
Prousos is the birthplace of General Georgios Kondilis who also served as Prime Minister of Greece.
