Andronikos Chaitas was a Greek communist.
Chaitas represented the Communist Party of Greece (KKE) at the Comintern. For a while, from March 1928, he was chairman of the KKE. Later he was jailed for his activities.
Chaitas managed to escape and sought refuge in the USSR. Instead, he was executed in 1935.
