Dimitris "Mimis" Stefanidis is a Greek former basketball player of the 1950s era.

Stefanidis was born in 1931 in Kypseli, Athens. He was a member of the great Panellinios club of the 1950s. He also played in Italy for Olimpia Milano (1955 - 1957, 1960).

He finished his career with 33 caps in which he scored 253 points for National Basketball Team of Greece.

After his playing days were over, Stefanidis coached several clubs including Olympiakos, Panathinaikos, Pangrati, Sporting and Panellinios. He also served as President of the Greek Tennis Federation.

He is the father of news reporter Tatiana Stefanidou.
