Savvas Gentsoglou (Greek: Σάββας Γκέντσογλου) is a Greek football midfielder currently at APOEL.
Gentsoglou was born on September 19, 1990 in Alexandroupolis, Thrace, Greece. He started his football career at the youth academies of AEK.
Gentsoglou played on loan for Panachaiki and local club Nea Ionia before registering any competitive appearances for AEK in the 2009 season.
In 2012, he transferred to Italian side Sampdoria, spending the next two seasons mostly on loan to Livorno and Spezia.
Gentsoglou returned to Greece in 2014, signing on to Ergotelis FC, where he spent one season. After spells at Italian side Bari and Croatia’s Hakduk Split, Gentsoglou joined APOEL in the summer of 2018.
He has played for the under-17, under-19 and under-21 teams of Greece.
