Monastiraki (literally "Little Monastery") is a flea market area in Athens, Greece where bargaining was the norm. Nowadays, it is the best place to buy souvenirs from Greece at low prices, without necessarily having to bargain. Actually the area is named after Monastiraki Square, where the metro station is.
