Megalochori is a village in the municipality of Estieotida, Trikala prefecture, Thessaly, Greece.
The village had a population of 1617 inhabitants according to the 2001 census.
Megalochori is the birthplace of footballer Sotiris Kyrgiakos who, among others, has played for Panathinaikos, Glasgow Rangers, Eintracht Frankfurt and AEK.
