Vathy is the capital of the island/municipality of Ithaca in the Ionian Sea off the west coast of Greece.
Vathy is situated on the southern half of Ithaca and has a natural gulf/harbour in which the small island of Lazareto can be found.
Its population in 2001 was 2,039 inhabitants.
