Kostas Virvos is a Greek songwriter and poet.

Virvos was born on March 29, 1926 in Trikala, Thessaly. He studied in Athens and has been a songwriter since 1950. Among the composers he has worked with are: Mikis Theodorakis, Vasilis Tsitsanis, Mimis Plessas, Yiannis Markopoulos, Grigoris Bithikotsis, Stelios Kazantzidis, Giorgos Dalaras and Tolis Voskopoulos though of special note should be his work alongside Theodoros Derveniotis which produced many classic laika songs.
