Meganissi or Meganisi is a small island in the Ionian Sea, between Lefkada and the west coast of mainland Greece.

Meganissi has been populated since ancient times and there are three villages on the island: Vathy, built around the island's harbour, Katomeri with its traditional houses and Spartochori roughly 4 km south of Katomeri. The total population of the island is 1,092 inhabitants as per the census of 2001.

It was in a cave at Meganissi that the Greek Submarine RHS Papanikolis took refuge during the German occupation.
