Jorge Barrios was an Uruguayan football midfielder of the 1980s era.

Barrios was born on January 24, 1961 in Las Piedras, Uruguay. He played in Uruguay for Montevideo Wanderers (1977-1985) before coming to Greece.

In Greece he played for Olympiakos (1986 and 1987) and Levadiakos (1988 - 1991).

In 1991, he returned to Uruguay where he played one year for Penarol before returning to Wanderers.

Barrios was a member of the Uruguayan national team that competed in the 1986 World Cup.

After his playing days were over, Barrios took up coaching.
