Yiannis Galitsios is a Greek former football defender of the 1980s - 1990s era.
Galitsios was born in 1958. He played his entire career (1980 - 1993) with AE Larisa, winning the Cup in 1985 and the Alpha Ethniki title in 1988.
During his career he was capped 17 times by the National Football Team of Greece.
Yiannis Galitsios is the father of current footballer Giorgos Galitsios who has played for Olympiakos.
