Panagiotis Poulitsas was a Greek judge, archaeologist, President of the Conseil d' etat and caretaker Prime Minister.
He was born in Geraki, Laconia prefecture in 1881. He studied law and became of judge in the Court of First Instance, then an Appelate Court judge.
In 1946, after the controversial elections of March 31, he headed a compromise caretaker government. He resigned 14 days later.
In 1947 he became a member of the Athens Archaeological Company and in 1954 its president.
He died on January 16, 1968.
