Kostas Douvalidis

Kostas Douvalidis is a Greek 110m hurdles athlete.

Douvalidis was born on March 10, 1987 in Drama, eastern Macedonia, Greece, to a Greek mother and an American father. He belongs to A.O. Drama and trains under Babis Sdrolas.

Douvalidis holds the Greek record for the 110m hurdles with a 13.34 time, achieved on July 20, 2013, in Athens. He also holds the record for the indoor 60m hurdles with 7.60 as of February 25, 2014.

Among his distinctions are:

• Second place in the European Junior Championships in 2005
• Third place in the World Junior Championships in 2006
• First place in the European under-23 Championships in 2007
• First place in the Mediterranean Games of 2013
