Kastanies is a town in the municipality of Vyssa in Evros prefecture, Thrace, Greece.
The population of the town was 1295 inhabitants, according to the 2001 census.
Kastanies is a border town, just across from Karaagac, Turkey, with both towns being on the west bank of the Evros river.
