Founded in Smyrna, Asia Minor, Apollon moved to Greece in the 1920's. Their home stadium is in Rizoupolis in northern Athens. Colours: Blue and white. They have won the Athens championship a few times but have yet to win a national title. Among their best players that have worn Apollon's jersey are:
