Giorgos Semertzidis is a former Greek football player of the 1970s - 1980s era.

Semertzidis was born in 1957. He played for Aris FC from 1976 until 1985 when he was acquired by Olympiakos Piraeus. In December 1987, he returned to Thessaloniki and played with Apollon Kalamaria until 1990 when he ended his career.

During his playing career, Semertzidis was capped 26 times by the National Football Team of Greece.

After his playing days were over, he coached Aris and the Under-17 National Football Team of Greece. He is currently on the coaching staff of Aris' youth academies.
