Sapes is a town and municipality of Rhodope prefecture, Thrace, Greece. It is the capital of Sapes province.

The population of the town is 5,599 (second largest in the prefecture) while that of the municipality is 9,542 according to the 2001 census. It's breakdown is roughly 2:1, Christian to Muslim, with nearly one-fourth originally from the former Soviet Union.
