- Saint John the Baptist - Also called Saint John the Forerunner, who baptised Jesus
- John the Apostle - Also called Saint John the Evangelist or Saint John the Theologian: the disciple of Jesus who wrote John's Gospel, John I, II, III and Revelation.
- Saint John the Russian - A latter saint of the church
