• Saint John the Baptist - Also called Saint John the Forerunner, who baptised Jesus
• John the Apostle - Also called Saint John the Evangelist or Saint John the Theologian: the disciple of Jesus who wrote John's Gospel, John I, II, III and Revelation.
• Saint John Chrysostom - an early Patriarch of Constantinople
• Saint John the Russian - A latter saint of the church
