Amorgos, known locally as Hora, is the capital of the island of Amorgos, in the Cyclades complex of Greece.

It is situated on the central part of the island, on the SE side of Mt Prophet Elias, 5km from the coast and its harbour Katapola. The town of Amorgos has a population of 330 inhabitants.
