Mentis Bostantzoglou, best known as 'Bost', was a cartoonist, satirist and playwright. He was born in Constantinople in [1918]].

His peculiar style was characterized by intentional misspellings and he was best known for satirizing the confusion in grammar and spelling caused by formal language among ordinary people, with whom he sympathized.

He died December 13, 1995 of a heart attack at the age of 77.
