Lazaros Kountouriotis (1769 - 1852) was a financier of the Greek War of Independence, an official of the revolutionary government and leader of the war effort on the island of Hydra. He was the brother of Georgios Kountouriotis.

Kountouriotis was a stable political ally of Alexandros Mavrokordatos in the revolutionary government and an opponent of Theodoros Kolokotronis during the civil strife that broke out amongst the Greeks during their war of independence.

After independence, Kountouriotis opposed Governor Ioannis Kapodistrias and gave his blessing to the rebellion of Andreas Miaoulis and the latter's takeover of the Poros shipyard. Politically, he preferred to stay in the background allowing his brother the limelight of public life.

He died in 1852.
