Adamas is the primary seaport and tourist centre of the island of Milos in the Cyclades complex of the Aegean Sea.
Adamas is inhabited by about 1,000 souls and in older times was a municipality. Its original inhabitants were refugees from Sfakia in Crete.
Adamas has two beaches, Langada and Papakinou. It has a post office, pharmacy, customs office, medical centre as well as both Orthodox and Catholic churches.
