Leo Styppes was Patriarch of Constantinople from 1134 until 1143.
Prior to ascending to the throne of Saint Andrew, Leo was a presbyter at Hagia Sophia. He reigned peacefully and uneventfully during the rule of Byzantine emperor John Comnenus.
