Alex Golfis was an actor. He was best known for his 1975 role as Manolios in the TV series adaptation of Nikos Kazantzakis' Christ Recrucified (or The Greek Passion) Greek: Ο Χριστός Ξανασταυρώνεται
He spent the last ten years of his life in an old house in Patisia.
On October 3, 2007, he was rushed to the Red Cross with aN Acute myocardial infarction (heart attack). He died two days later at the age of 59.
