Antonis Michailidis

Antonis Michailidis is a former Minister of Trade, Industry and Tourism of Cyprus.

Michailidis was born in Lefkosia in 1948. He studied Law at the University of Athens with post-graduate studies at the London School of Economics and the Polytechnic of Central London.

Following his studies, Michailidis returned to Cyprus and worked in private industry, eventually serving on the Board of Directors of conglomerate MPM. He also served on the Board of the Cyprus Football Federation and the Bank for Development. On June 13, 2006, he replaced Georgios Lilikas as Minister of Trade, Industry and Tourism.

Michailidis is married with two children.
