Grigoris Fanaras

Grigoris Fanaras is a Greek former football goalkeeper of the 1970s - 1980s era.

Fanaras started his career at Iraklis Thessaloniki in 1968 and played with them until the Summer of 1982. He was the captain of the team that lifted the Greek Football Cup in 1976. He ended his career at Makedonikos, playing for them in their lone Alpha Ethniki season (1982 - 1983.

Fanaras recorded a total of 224 top league appearances. He is still involved in football in a managerial capacity for Iraklis.
