Nikos Kalambakas

Nikos Kalambakas (alternative spelling Kalabakas) was a Greek football player of the 1970s - 1980s era. His usual position was right winger or left winger.

Kalambakas was born on November 16, 1953. He started his football career at Apollon Litochoro before joining Pierikos in 1972.

Kalambakas played eight years at Pierikos before transferring in 1980 to Iraklis Thessaloniki.

After Iraklis, Kalambakas returned to Pierikos, moved on to Agrotikos Asteras and returned for the third time to Pierikos where he ended his career in 1987.

In his playing days Kalambakas was capped three times by the National Football Team of Greece.

Nikos Kalambakas is the father of Dimitris Kalambakas who also played for Iraklis.
