Stavros Paravas was a Greek stage and film actor.

Paravas was born in Athens, in 1937, to parents who came from Asia Minor. He studied at the Drama School of Kostas Michailidis and made his debut in the theatre in the play "The first lie" («Πρώτο ψέμα»). He made his screen debut in 1960, in the film "Christina" («Χριστίνα»). He became well-known in the 1960s playing secondary roles usually as a "nerd" type or a "mangas". At the same time he continued playing in the theatre in satyrical and comic plays such as "Dennis the Menace" and "Dirlada".

Later, his repertoire changed and included performances in ancient Greek tragedies in the theater of Epidaurus, collaborations with the National Theatre of Greece and his debut on TV.
