Stathis Haitas was a Greek football forward during the 1960s and 1970s.
Haitas was born on March 20, 1940. He played for Panionios from 1960 until 1977 with a brief interlude in 1975 when he played for Larisa. He still holds the record for most appearances in the Alpha Ethniki by a Panionios player: 480.
Haitas was capped 24 times by the National Football Team of Greece scoring one goal.
After his playing days were over, Haitas coached a number of clubs including Panionios, late in 1996.
