Filippiada (Greek Φιλιππιάδα) is a municipality in the Preveza prefecture, Epirus, Greece. Its population is 8,429 (2001).
Filippiada is the second largest city of Preveza prefecture, named for the love its inhabitants had for horses. The city is divided into three communities: Old Filippiada, New Filippiada and Eleftherochori.
Filippiada was known in antiquity (7th - 8th Century BC) as Charadron. It shared the fate of Epirus through most of its history and was liberated during the First Balkan War on October 13, 1912.
Its economy is mostly agrarian owing to the rich plain on which the city is built.
