Kommeno is a one-town community in Arta prefecture, Epirus, Greece.

Its population in 2001 was 835 inhabitants.

On August 16, 1943, German occupation forces under the command of Major Reinhold Klebbe, murdered 317 persons in Kommeno, in retaliation for the death of a colonel who was killed by guerrilas. Among the dead were the village priest, 172 women, 14 persons over 65 years of age and 13 infants.
