Stavros Velkopoulos was a Greek athlete in the 800m and the 1500m.
Velkopoulos was born in Istanbul. He was an athlete of Panathinaikos.
Velkopoulos represented Greece in the 1936 Olympics of Berlin. Among his accomplishments was a gold medal in the Balkan Games of 1939.
