Panagiotis Nakopoulos was a Greek athlete in the 5000m and the 3000m steeplechase.

Nakopoulos was born in Thessaloniki in 1946. He was an athlete of PAOK.

Nakopoulos broke the Greek record for the 3000m steeplechase with an 8:40.08 time, achieved in Karaiskaki Stadium on June 13, 1971. His best time in that event was achieved on July 6, 1972 - 8:32.2.

Among his accomplishments were two first-place finishes in the Panhellenic Games of 1971 and 1973.
