Kokkina is a town in Lefkosia province, Cyprus. It lies 69 km West of Lefkosia and 35 km West of Morfou, in the geographical region of Tillyria.
During the 1963 - 1964 upheaval in Cyprus, the National Guard attacked the village after reports that men and weapons were being smuggled there from Turkey. The attacks resulted in the Turkish Airforce bombarding the Tillyria area.
Kokkina has been under Turkish military occupation since 1974. Prior to that, its population of 382 was Turkish.
